Lisa's private classes are great for everyone and can be especially convenient for at-home parents, as a benefit to offer employees, for small groups of colleagues, for those who prefer to learn in a more discreet environment than a public classs or for anyone with a busy schedule.
Lisa keeps her fee for private classes as low as possible in order to share the joys and challenges of yoga with as many people as possible.

About Lisa
Lisa teaches yoga with the intention of sharing its many benefits with others, of expanding her own knowledge and of helping her students understand that true happiness lies only within themselves.
Ten years ago, Lisa began practicing yoga as part of her fitness routine. She was blessed to have a true yogini as her first yoga teacher, and Lisa quickly learned that yoga was an excellent exercise for the mind, intellect and emotions, as well as the body. Over time, yoga has grown to become the bedrock of a healthy lifestyle for Lisa, more than a mere layer within it.
Lisa traveled to India in 2004, where she spent two months practicing ashtanga yoga in Mysore at Mandala Yogashala with Sri. V. Sheshadri, completed an ayurvedic massage course and studied yoga sutras. She then spent another two months primarily in Varanasi, Rishikish and Dharamsala, where she practiced yoga and meditation and studied Buddhist and Hindu philosophies with teachers in each city.
In 2005 Lisa completed her first teacher training and began teaching vinyasa yoga classes in Washington, D.C. In 2008 she relocated to Seattle, Washington, and then spent Oct. 2009 through May 2010 in India and Bali, Indonesia, pursuing studies of meditation and yoga in both countries. In Ubud, Bali, Lisa completed her first 200-hour yoga teacher training certification with School of Sacred Arts . She is currently based in Ubud and is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
Lisa also operates Surya Communications , a communications consulting firm for companies and non-profits whose work is positive mission driven.
